Job summary

B&G Foods is seeking an experienced maintenance electrician to troubleshoot electrical and control systems, design and upgrade electrical controls, and support the maintenance team in a fast-paced facility.

The role requires 5–7 years of experience, an electrical-related degree or equivalent, and strong problem-solving skills. You will help develop an electrical PM program and ensure safety protocols across production areas.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years total experience in electrical control systems.
• Associate's degree in electrical-related studies or 5 years experience.
• PC literacy and basic software proficiency.
• Electrical power, control, and PLC diagnostic skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support maintenance and capital electrical projects as directed.
• Review electrical schematics changes and communicate to engineering.
• Ensure safety and GMP policy compliance in own areas.
• Provide ongoing training and enforce procedures as needed.
• Develop and update an electrical PM program.
• Review PM schedules and adapt for electrical devices and cleaning.
