Job summary

B&G Foods Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician with a three-year minimum background in a manufacturing setting. The role requires welding, electrical knowledge, and the ability to read schematics and operate testing tools.

You will support food safety and quality policies, follow GMPs, and maintain equipment reliability. Candidates must be prepared for overtime and on-call demands as needed.

Qualifications

• Three year minimum maintenance background in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of machines & tools, including designs, uses & repair.
• Ability to read and understand information in writing.
• Ability to weld (MIG, TIG, ARC, oxy/acetylene) and SS fabrication.
• Knowledge of 3-phase electrical systems and distribution.
• Knowledge of power transmission & pneumatic systems.
• Knowledge of mechanical & electrical safety.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring food safety/quality policies are followed.
• Report food safety/quality problems beyond responsibility to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Work safely and report unsafe conditions immediately.
• Ensure a safe, wholesome product is produced.
• All other duties as required.
