Job summary

C.H. Guenther & Son, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Controls Specialist to maintain and optimize control systems for our food manufacturing equipment. The role emphasizes PLC/SCADA troubleshooting, electrical maintenance, and safety compliance in a fast-paced plant environment.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ year in manufacturing maintenance, relevant certifications, and the ability to work non-standard hours as needed. We offer comprehensive benefits and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Technical/associates degree or certificate in related trades preferred.
• Electrical Journeyman license or related certification preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Automation engineering a plus.
• At least 1 year of related manufacturing maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot control systems (PLCs, HMIs, SCADA).
• Conduct preventive electrical maintenance on motors, drives and sensors.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance for electrical/control systems.
• Identify process improvements and automate where feasible.
• Document configurations, wiring diagrams and maintenance activities.
