B&G Foods, Inc. seeks a Lead Maintenance Technician to coordinate daily maintenance operations, ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and efficiency. You will guide maintenance activities, assist with troubleshooting, and collaborate with production to uphold company standards and GMP requirements.

You will lead technicians, prioritize work, monitor quality, and emphasize preventive maintenance to reduce downtime while maintaining a safe, clean work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience.
• Experience leading a maintenance team or shift.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and specs.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout procedures and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Assign and prioritize work based on production needs and team capability.
• Monitor work quality and address performance issues.
• Provide guidance to technicians to improve skills.
• Evaluate equipment and systems for maintenance and repair needs.
• Inspect work areas to ensure safe conditions and GMP compliance.
• Enforce safety procedures and provide training to prevent unsafe practices.
• Inspect and test completed work to meet standards.
• Support preventive maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Maintain inventory levels for parts, tools, and supplies.
• Prepare and maintain maintenance reports and trends.
