Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking a skilled electrical/electronic engineer to maintain electrical and control systems in a food manufacturing setting. The role involves documenting systems, assisting technicians, and coordinating preventive maintenance across shifts to ensure uninterrupted production.

You will work on electrical hardware and software, read designs and diagrams, and sometimes travel to support offsite repairs, all while adhering to GMP and safety standards.

Qualifications

• AS/AAS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and control systems design documentation.
• Familiarity with Rockwell, Siemens, and Mitsubishi software; experience with preventive maintenance software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current documentation for all electrical and control systems.
• Assist Mechanics and Electro-Mechanics in diagnosing and resolving electrical or control issues.
• Provide training and coordinate activities of Electro-Mechanics across all shifts as needed.
• Occasionally work offsite to support equipment troubleshooting and repairs.
• Ensure production equipment is maintained according to the production schedule.
• Perform preventive, scheduled, or corrective maintenance on batching and continuous process control systems.
