Job summary

Fromm Electric Supply is seeking a Specialist for its Industrial Automation Group to grow automation solutions across the territory. You will be the technical and commercial resource, applying knowledge of VFDs, MCCs, motor control, and related technologies to identify opportunities and deliver effective solutions.

You will partner with Account Managers, Inside and Outside Sales, and Rockwell Automation personnel to train customers, support launches, and expand market adoption across industrial

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a technical discipline.
• Experience in industrial automation, controls, electrical systems, motor control, manufacturing technologies, or related field.
• Working knowledge of VFDs, MCCs, and industrial motor control applications.
• Strong ability to understand customer applications and recommend effective technology solutions.
• Proven presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to develop and communicate value-based solutions in competitive sales environments.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Ability to train and mentor internal teams on product features, benefits, applications, and market opportunities.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, one-line diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout the territory as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to grow industrial automation solutions across the territory.
• Partner with sales teams to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities.
• Serve as the primary technical resource for customers, Inside Sales, and Outside Sales on industrial automation products and applications.
• Provide pre-sale and post-sale technical support to ensure successful customer outcomes.
• Apply technical expertise in VFDs, MCCs, motor control systems, and related automation technologies.
• Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and hands-on training for customers and sales teams.
• Collaborate with Rockwell Automation representatives and internal specialists to develop complete customer solutions.
• Support inventory planning and product mix recommendations to ensure product availability and customer satisfaction.
