Job summary

Olympus Controls in Kent, WA seeks a Sales Engineer to drive solutions across a technical territory. You will manage the full sales cycle from needs discovery to closing, balancing customer relationships with supplier advocacy and post-sale support.

The role requires engineering education or equivalent experience, travel to customer sites, and frequent on-site consultations. You will use CRM tools, coordinate with suppliers, and participate in trade shows and seminars.

Qualifications

• Mechanical, Electrical, Software and/or Mechatronics Engineering degree or equivalent experience in a technical field.
• Willingness to travel 6–9 customer visits per week and up to 10 weeks of travel in the first year.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer relationships and the full sales cycle from investigation to closing.
• Onsite and in-office application consulting with proactive and reactive selling.
• Interface with suppliers and act as customer advocate in applications, quoting, post-sale support, and returns.
• Utilize CRM to enter and update customer information and track opportunities.
• Develop territory plan and execute it through the fiscal year.
