Job summary

Werner Electric Supply is seeking a Power & Components Manager to lead Automation Specialists through the customer journey, from pre‑sales to post‑sales support. You will grow product expertise, coordinate launches, and optimize solutions for diverse industrial customers in Wisconsin.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Able to travel regularly with some overnight travel.
• Associate’s degree in Automation, Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience delivering presentations and demonstrations.
• Experience working directly with customers.
• Proven ability to self-direct workload.
• Ability to stay updated with industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain product knowledge across platforms.
• Manage day-to-day work of Automation Specialists.
• Coordinate with Marketing for product launches.
• Provide pre-sales support including BOMs, proofs of concept, and sizing.
• Provide post-sales support including issue resolution and training.
• Log opportunities and interactions in the CRM system.
• Collaborate with Account Managers and Consultants on solution architecture.
• Provide product-based training to internal teams.
• Share information on new products and technology relevant to customers.
• Analyze competitive product lines and differentiators.
• Manage prioritization of billable services and field activities.
• Participate in AOP planning and relevant trade shows.
