Job summary

Werner Electric Supply, headquartered in Appleton, WI, seeks a Power & Components Manager to lead Automation Specialists and drive the buying journey from pre-sales to installation. You will build strong product knowledge, manage workflows, and coordinate launches with Marketing while assisting customers with BOMs, proofs of concepts, and sizing decisions.

You will also provide post-sales support, train internal teams, analyze competitors, and participate in planning and trade shows.

Qualifications

Associate degree required with 3–5 years of relevant experience; or 5–7 years of related experience in lieu of degree.
Direct customer interaction experience is required.
Experience delivering presentations and demonstrations is required.
Proven ability to manage and self-direct workload and stay updated on industry trends.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain product knowledge across platforms.
Lead Automation Specialists and prioritize day-to-day work.
Coordinate with Marketing on product launches and market introduction.
Provide pre-sales support: review specs, prepare BOMs, proofs of concepts, performance tests, sizing and recommendations.
Provide post-sales support: troubleshoot, train, and escalate to vendors when needed.
Log and manage opportunities in CRM; collaborate with Account Managers and Solution Consultants.
Conduct internal product-based training for Sales and Customer Experience teams.
Analyze competitive product lines and communicate differentiators.
Support AOP planning and participate in trade shows.
