Job summary
Verto People, Ltd. is seeking a Sales Engineer / Automation Sales Specialist in the Atlanta area to drive automation solutions for machine builders and manufacturers.
The role is remote with coverage across Michigan, featuring a base salary of $117,000–$125,000 plus commission and a comprehensive benefits package. You will manage existing and new accounts, present practical automation solutions, and travel to customer sites as needed while building long-term relationships with clients in the
Qualifications
- Engineering, technical or business degree.
- Experience selling to machine builders, manufacturing plants or automation-led environments.
- Based in Atlanta and willing to cover this region.
Responsibilities
- Manage existing and new customer relationships across Atlanta.
- Engage with customers and prospects on industrial automation solutions, engineering products, sensors, machine vision, IIoT solutions, control panel products, etc.
- Selling to machine builders and manufacturing plants.
- Define customer challenges clearly and support the development of suitable automation solutions.
- 3 days customer visits, 2 days office based.
- Use technical product and application knowledge to solve industrial automation challenges.
- Communicate with customers through web conferences, LinkedIn, phone calls and in-person meetings.
- Attend customer sites for larger projects to evaluate machinery, review applications and present solutions.
