Job summary

Verto People Ltd. is seeking a Sales Engineer / Automation Sales Specialist to cover Michigan, selling to machine builders and plants with base salary plus commissions. The role combines remote engagement with on-site visits across the region.

Ideal candidates are commercially driven technical sales professionals who enjoy prospecting, developing accounts, understanding customer challenges and presenting practical automation solutions both remotely and face to face.

Qualifications

Degree in engineering, technical or business field.
Experience selling to machine builders and manufacturing plants.
Based in Michigan and willing to cover the region.

Responsibilities

Manage existing and new customer relationships across Michigan.
Engage with customers and prospects on automation solutions and related products.
Sell to machine builders and manufacturing plants.
Define customer challenges and develop suitable automation solutions.
Three days of customer visits, two days in the office.
Apply technical product knowledge to solve automation challenges.
Communicate with customers via web conferences, LinkedIn, phone and in-person meetings.
Visit customer sites for larger projects to review machinery and applications.
