Job summary

Power/mation is launching a paid, 12-18 month Technical Sales Associate (TSA) program designed to prepare new engineering graduates for a career in Outside Sales within the industrial automation field. Start dates are January or June 2027, with hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to innovative automation solutions.

The program begins in inside sales, where you’ll support customers, prepare quotes, and learn the complexities of industrial automation.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer relation skills.
• Background in mechanical or electrical engineering, factory automation, or related fields.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A technical or engineering degree is preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Inside sales support, creating quotes, and learning the ins and outs of industrial automation.
• Gain experience in the engineering department and fulfillment centers.
• Shadow successful outside sales representatives to develop field skills.
• Develop sales skills through consultative selling and product knowledge.
