Job summary

Engtal is seeking a maintenance technician in Wisconsin (South Milwaukee) to troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control systems on automated production equipment. You will support robotic systems, conveyors, and associated machinery, using PLCs and diagnostic tools to identify faults and adjust operations.

Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, reading schematics, assisting IQ/OQ/PQ activities, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience maintaining or troubleshooting automated industrial production equipment.
• Strong hands-on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with PLC-controlled machinery and automated manufacturing systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Experience troubleshooting pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with electrical testing equipment, including multimeters.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control system issues on automated production equipment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot industrial robotics, automated assembly systems, conveyors, and related machinery.
• Utilize PLC systems and diagnostic tools to identify equipment faults and support adjustments.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
• Read and interpret schematics, assist with IQ/OQ/PQ activities, and maintain maintenance records.
