Job summary

Metalcraft of Mayville, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair and maintain mechanical equipment, automated PLCs and robotics that support production operations in our Wisconsin facility.

You will handle preventive maintenance, calibrations, and safety compliance, work with external vendors, and coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor to optimize uptime and productivity. A High School Diploma and substantial maintenance experience in metal fabrication are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting a wide variety of equipment and maintenance needs.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical and controls aspects of robotic equipment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical P&ID drawings, and operate systems up to 3Ph and 480Vac.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting for electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems to support production and non-production equipment.
• Manage equipment calibrations, programmable device configurations and control hardware to improve reliability and minimize downtime.
• Recommends and enforces maintenance safety requirements.
• Coordinate maintenance inventory and work orders to maximize efficiency.
• Develop outside contractor and vendor relationships for maintenance projects.
