Job summary

QPS Employment Group seeks an Electro-Maintenance Technician in Wisconsin on a 12-hour day shift (7:00am–7:00pm). You will write PLC logic, troubleshoot circuits, and design control panels with user interfaces for reliable manufacturing operations.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED (technical degree preferred) and at least five years in industrial maintenance; ability to lift up to 50 pounds; knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical schematics.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; technical degree preferred.
• At least five years of experience in Industrial Maintenance.
• Proficient in electrical troubleshooting with a multimeter up to 480 volts.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical schematics.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Write advanced PLC logic programs.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLC circuits.
• Design and assemble control circuits and cabinets with a user interface.
• Analyze current machinery for PLC automation implementation.
• Troubleshoot, program and specify motor drives.
• Perform mechanical, electrical and control system duties as needed.
• Predict equipment operational state to reduce downtime.
• Install/extruder components with minimal supervision.
• Complete welding/fabrication; support capital projects.
• Use Fiix to generate work orders and track materials.
• Conduct twice-per-shift rounds to inspect critical equipment.
