Job summary

Simera Professional is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test suites across functional, regression, API, and end-to-end testing. You will analyze requirements to identify automation opportunities and collaborate with developers and product managers to improve quality.

The role emphasizes hands-on experience with major automation frameworks, API testing, and CI/CD integration, with independence to manage multiple testing activities within Agile/Scrum

Qualifications

• Proven automation testing experience in a QA role.
• Hands-on with at least one framework: Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Strong programming/scripting skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
• Experience with API testing and RESTful services.
• Familiar with CI/CD tools and Git.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts, frameworks, and test suites.
• Analyze requirements to identify automation opportunities.
• Create and execute automated tests for functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end testing.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
• Identify, reproduce, and track defects.
• Maintain documentation for automation frameworks and test cases.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to resolve quality issues.
