Job summary

Simera is seeking a dedicated Application Tester to join its growing QA team. You will execute manual and automated tests, review requirements, create test cases, and document defects to ensure product quality.

Working with developers, product managers, and designers, you will support release testing and cross‑platform validation, translating requirements into effective test scenarios and maintaining testing documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Application/QA/Software Tester.
• Hands-on testing of software and manual test cases.
• Familiarity with Jira, TestRail, or Azure DevOps.
• Ability to identify, document, and track defects.
• Understanding of software development and release processes.
• Translate requirements into test scenarios.
• English proficiency for technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual and automated tests to validate application functionality.
• Review requirements, user stories, and specifications to identify testing needs.
• Create and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and testing documentation.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, usability, and exploratory testing.
• Identify, reproduce, document, and track defects.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to resolve issues.
• Support release testing, deployment validation, and production verification.
• Perform cross-browser, cross-platform, and mobile testing.
