Job summary

Simera is seeking an Application Tester to join our team in the United States. You will execute manual and automated tests to validate application functionality and quality, and collaborate with product managers and designers.

The role focuses on functional, regression, integration, system, usability, and exploratory testing, creating test cases, and supporting release validation across browsers and devices.

Qualifications

• Experience as Application Tester, QA Tester, or Software Tester.
• Hands-on experience testing software applications and creating manual test cases.
• Familiarity with Jira, TestRail, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience performing functional and regression testing.
• Understanding of software development and release processes.
• Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios.
• English proficiency for working with technical documentation and teams.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual and automated tests to validate application functionality and quality.
• Review requirements, user stories, and specifications to identify testing needs.
• Create and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and testing documentation.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, usability, and exploratory testing.
• Identify, reproduce, document, and track application defects.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to resolve issues.
• Support release testing, deployment validation, and production verification.
• Perform cross-browser, cross-platform, and mobile testing.
