Simera seeks an Automation QA Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks, covering functional, regression, API, and end-to-end testing. You will work with developers and product managers to ensure quality and support CI/CD pipelines while documenting automation efforts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Automation QA Engineer or similar role.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
• Knowledge of API testing and RESTful services.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and Git version control.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL and database testing.
• Experience with defect tracking tools like Jira, TestRail, or Azure DevOps.
• Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into effective testing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts, frameworks, and test suites
• Analyze requirements and user stories to identify automation opportunities
• Create and execute automated tests for functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end testing
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or REST Assured
• Identify, reproduce, and track software defects
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to resolve quality issues
• Maintain clear documentation for automation frameworks and test cases
