Job summary

Citi is seeking a hard-working Automation QA Engineer at AVP level to join our global team. The role focuses on maintaining, extending, and refining our automation framework across UI and API tests, in a hybrid environment.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience, strong coding skills in Java or Python, and hands-on experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber/Selenium or Cypress. Familiarity with Postman, JIRA, GitHub, and SDLC QA methodologies is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant QA experience.
• 3+ years experience with Java, Python, Kubernetes, SQL.
• 3+ years experience in at least one modern language - Java, Python, C#.
• 3+ years building BDD automation frameworks (Cucumber, Selenium, Cypress, Mocha).
• Strong understanding of databases and OO design.
• Familiar with Postman, JIRA, Zephyr, GitHub, Jenkins.
• Knowledge of SDLC and QA methodologies.
• Good communication skills.
• Loan IQ experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Creates, maintains, and executes automated UI and API tests.
• Build tools to improve the testability of software.
• Performs functional, regression and end-to-end tests to ensure systems meet requirements.
• Works with stakeholders to develop and review test plans and scripts.
• Identifies defects and recommends corrective actions; performs root cause analyses.
• Implements process improvements for testing activities.
• Assess risk in business decisions with regard to Citi's reputation and assets.
• Use GitHub and AI-assisted tools to improve speed and coverage.
