Job summary
Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking a Production Engineer for our Napoleon, OH plant. The role focuses on developing a strategic automation program to improve reliability, efficiency, and energy use while extending asset life and reducing operating costs.
Responsibilities include leading automation projects, supervising diagnostics on automated systems, and supporting capital equipment planning to meet capacity and quality targets. The position is based on site in Napoleon, OH.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree in engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience with automation systems.
- Physical demands: walking, standing, lifting up to 40 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Drive risk reduction through hazard analyses and safety improvements.
- Plan and direct teams to troubleshoot, install, repair, and maintain processes.
- Oversee automated systems and robotics for optimal production.
- Lead automation improvement projects and routine diagnostic checks.
- Assist with capacity planning and capital projects for equipment.
