Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, seeks a Production Engineer based in Napoleon, OH, to develop a strategic automation program aimed at reliability, efficiency, energy conservation, and cost reduction across manufacturing operations.

The role drives improvements in automation, mentoring teams, and coordinating with design and production to deliver process innovations while maintaining safety and quality standards on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment leading, implementing and integrating automation systems.
• Experience driving automation and process optimization projects.

Responsibilities

• Executes risk reduction through hazard analysis and safety improvements.
• Plans and directs teams to troubleshoot, install, repair and maintain manufacturing processes, equipment, tools and property.
• Oversees computerized systems and robotics for optimal production performance.
• Leads automation improvement projects and capital projects.
• Implements training plans to develop skills for servicing automated equipment.
• Supports other plant functions to sustain value through teamwork and continuous improvement.

Education

Bachelor's or Associate's degree in engineering or related field
