Job summary

National Grid plc is seeking a Continuous Improvement and Automation Lead to drive operational excellence across Learning & Development in the US and UK. You will identify automation opportunities, streamline processes and partner with stakeholders to enhance the learning experience.

You will combine Lean and Six Sigma expertise with data-driven decision making to deliver measurable improvements, governance, and scalable solutions that support the business as it evolves.

Qualifications

• Experience leading continuous improvement programs within complex organizations.
• Strong understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, CI or Operational Excellence methodologies.
• Experience delivering process automation and digital transformation initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience using data and insight to drive business decisions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative approach with a passion for innovation and improvement.

Responsibilities

• Leading continuous improvement initiatives across Learning & Development.
• Identifying, designing and implementing process improvements that improve efficiency and customer experience.
• Driving the adoption of automation technologies and digital solutions.
• Using data and insights to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Facilitating workshops and stakeholder engagement activities to support change initiatives.
• Establishing governance, metrics and reporting to measure improvement outcomes.
• Embedding a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence across the function.
• Collaborating with internal and external partners to deliver sustainable improvements.
