Mergon Moulded Plastics in Anderson, SC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to optimize a highly automated blow molding facility. You will troubleshoot ABB robotics, Omron PLCs and other automation components to boost OEE and reliability.

You will lead commissioning, installation, and fine-tuning of automation systems, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and train peers while staying current on robotics and PLC advances. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Formación

• Hands-on capable with ABB robots and Omron PLCs in a blow molding setting.
• Proficient in diagnosing and solving automation-related issues.
• Experience with PFMEA, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
• Strong willingness to learn new systems and processes.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot and improve OEE in a highly automated blow molding line.
• Assist commissioning, installation, and tuning of automation systems.
• Collaborate with Production, Maintenance and suppliers on improvements.
• Provide technical training and share knowledge with teammates.
• Stay current with robotics, PLC programming, and automation advances.
