Qualifications
- Technical aptitude and willingness to learn quickly, especially in robotics and PLCs.
- Problem-solving mindset for a fast-paced production environment.
- Experience in blow molding or automated manufacturing is a plus but not required.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends to address critical issues.
Responsibilities
- Learn operation and maintenance of ABB robots, Omron PLCs, and automation systems.
- Collaborate with Production and Maintenance to troubleshoot issues affecting OEE.
- Lead efforts to improve reliability and efficiency of automation equipment.
- Assist commissioning, installation and tuning of automation systems for maximum efficiency.
- Work with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and drive process improvements.
- Provide training and support to teammates on automation best practices.
