Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, seeks a Process Engineer to join the HSIO Connector Engineering team in Valley Green, PA. The role focuses on developing automated assembly processes, PFMEA/QC plans, and cost projections to meet customer requirements and Amphenol’s quality goals.

The engineer will work with 3D CAD tools, define fixtures, collaborate with vendors, and help drive manufacturing documentation and equipment qualifications across global

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electro-mechanical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering with at least two years of current experience in a process engineering role.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public in each region of the world.

Responsabilités

• Develop assembly processes and documentation including process sheets and work instructions.
• Coordinate with vendors for prototype samples, tooling and equipment.
• Drive process qualification plans and DOE studies.
• Provide training and support to production personnel.
• Identify capacity plans and cost reduction opportunities.
• Travel domestically and internationally as needed.
