• Coordinates interdepartmental/intradepartmental services and participates in committees.
• Ensures policies promote safe and effective medication use.
• Plans new or revised pharmacy services amid regulatory changes.
• Assesses and improves pharmacy service performance.
• Coordinates implementation plans approved by Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee.
• Initiates training for pharmacy teammates.
• Designs and monitors patient-specific pharmacotherapeutic regimens.
• Supervises daily preparation and dispensing of pharmaceuticals.
