Job summary

Industrial Power Solutions, a Sundt Company, seeks a skilled Panel Designer to design UL 508A industrial control panels and electrical schematics, while developing PLC and HMI programs for automated systems.

The role involves creating and modifying electrical drawings with AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN, ensuring NEC/NFPA79 compliance, and coordinating with engineering, manufacturing, and panel shop teams through project lifecycles, including FAT, startup, and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Design UL 508A industrial control panels and electrical schematics.
• Develop PLC, HMI, and SCADA programs for automation systems.
• Create and modify electrical drawings using CAD tools.
• Read and modify schematics, P&IDs, and control drawings; ensure compliance with UL 508A, NEC, NFPA 79.

Responsibilities

• Design UL 508A control panels, schematics, and layouts.
• Develop PLC, HMI, and SCADA programs for industrial systems.
• Create and maintain electrical drawings using AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN.
• Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing and panel shop teams during projects.
• Support FAT, startup, commissioning, testing, and customer support.
