Job summary

Industrial Power Solutions, a Sundt Company, is seeking an experienced Panel Designer to design UL 508A control panels, develop PLC/HMI/SCADA programs, and support panel fabrication and startup. The role requires coordinating with engineering, manufacturing, and panel shop teams to deliver reliable automation solutions.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in industrial controls, read electrical schematics, and use AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN to create accurate drawings.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in industrial controls, automation, or control systems engineering.

Responsibilities

Design UL 508A industrial control panels, electrical schematics, and panel layouts.
Develop PLC, HMI, and SCADA programs for industrial automation systems.
Create and maintain electrical drawings using AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar CAD software.
Select electrical components and ensure designs comply with UL 508A, NEC, and NFPA 79 standards.
Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and panel shop teams throughout project execution.
Support FAT, startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer support.
