All Systems Electrical, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer with strong experience in AutoCAD Electrical and UL508A control panel design for industrial applications.

The role focuses on design and documentation of control panels, from layout and schematics to BOMs, ensuring code-compliant, build-ready solutions. The position emphasizes accurate documentation, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and adherence to customer specifications.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in control panel design or industrial controls engineering.
• Strong proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical (required).
• In-depth understanding of UL508A, NEC, and industrial panel design practices.
• Familiarity with control panel components: breakers, relays, terminal blocks, PLC hardware, VFDs.

Responsibilities

• Develop control panel layouts and wiring schematics using AutoCAD Electrical.
• Design panels in compliance with UL508A, NEC, and customer specifications.
• Interpret electrical one-lines, P&IDs, and technical documents to create full drawing packages.
• Specify electrical components and generate accurate bills of materials.
• Collaborate with production and purchasing to ensure designs meet quality and cost standards.
• Review and revise designs based on internal or customer feedback.
• Support project teams with timely, accurate design documentation.
