Job summary

BD in Sandy, Utah, is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Operator to operate and monitor automated equipment in a fast-paced environment. You will set up/change over equipment, perform quality checks, and support continuous improvement efforts while adhering to BD safety standards.

This is a rotating B shift role (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM MT). The ideal candidate has strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and good teamwork to ensure high-quality medical devices are produced safely.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent experience preferred.
• Effective written and oral communication skills (English), basic math skills, and interpersonal skills.
• One to two years of previous manufacturing/production experience is preferred.
• Must also have good dexterity and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Operates multiple processes on high speed automated or semi-automated manufacturing equipment.
• Participates in all equipment changeovers or set-ups.
• Monitors assigned processes to ensure high quality production.
• Removes defective product from the automated or semi-automated processes.
• Participates in the division of labor of self-directed work responsibilities including attendance, scheduling of work assignments, compliance audits, etc.
