Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent experience preferred.
• Effective written and oral communication skills (English), basic math skills, and interpersonal skills.
• One to two years of previous manufacturing/production experience is preferred.
• Must also have good dexterity and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Operates high-speed automated or semi-automated equipment.
• Performs equipment changeovers and set-ups.
• Monitors processes to ensure product quality.
• Removes defective product from lines.
• Supports self-directed team with attendance and scheduling.
• Keeps equipment clean; sweeps, mops, wipes down.
• Communicates problems and changes promptly.
• Keeps records and documents as required.
• Identifies quality issues and takes corrective action.
• May perform Process Control Operator duties.
• Overtime as needed.
• Participates in Continuous Improvement projects (5S, etc.).
• Supports KAS program goals.
• Follows BD safety regulations and quality policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
