Job summary

Alsco Uniforms in Houston, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative and specialized maintenance of the facility and its equipment, ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and company policies.

You will use a preventive maintenance program, troubleshoot automation and control systems, and work with plant personnel to improve equipment performance while keeping downtime minimal.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional training in plumbing, electrical, steam, controls, PLC, welding, and mechanical systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leadership to support facility operations.
• Use a computerized Preventive Maintenance (PM) program to document repairs and maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment with emphasis on automation and control systems.
• Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and wastewater requirements; keep computerized maintenance records.
• Perform preventive maintenance to maximize reliability and minimize downtime.
