Job summary

Alsco Uniforms is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our automated laundry facilities in Ogden, Utah. The role focuses on preventative and specialized maintenance of equipment to ensure safe, cost-effective operation and wastewater/system integrity.

You will document repairs in a computerized PM system, troubleshoot automation controls, and work with plant teams to maximize uptime while following safety procedures and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in plumbing, electrical, steam, controls, PLC, welding, and mechanical systems preferred.
• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical schematics, low voltage troubleshooting, and controls.
• Boiler operation and wastewater treatment certification are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with management and operations teams to support facility operations.
• Utilize a computerized PM program to document repairs and maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment with emphasis on automation and control systems.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance through proper documentation and training.
• Perform preventive maintenance to maximize reliability and minimize downtime.
