Job summary

Skechers USA Ltd. in Southern California is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform intermediate maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex automated warehouse systems. The role focuses on electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, with emphasis on high-speed sortation and ASRS.

Typical pay ranges from $24.50 to $36.56 per hour with a Friday–Sunday, 6pm–7am schedule (3/12). A written and physical test is required for candidacy.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
• Experience: 3-5 years of industrial maintenance with automated systems.
• Technical Skills: Intermediate knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, motor controls, and automated material handling.
• Safety: NFPA 70E electrical safety standards and industrial safety practices.
• Tools: Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, multimeters, and diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Identify, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical failures on complex automated warehouse systems.
• Troubleshoot PLCs to the Input/Output level under supervision.
• Diagnose and repair motor control panels, starters, relays, and fuses.
• Maintain and repair sensors, barcode readers, and related components.
• Repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems including compressors, valves, and actuators.
• Perform fabrication with cutting, drilling, and welding following hot work safety standards.
• Maintain conveyor and sortation systems and operate WCS and HMI for diagnostics.
• Work with 12VDC to 600VAC systems following NFPA 70E.
