Job summary

Amgen in New Albany, Ohio is hiring an Automation Maintenance Technician to support the new production site. You will engage in technical engineering tasks, calibration, and equipment optimization to comply with CFRs and FDA standards.

Initially, the role follows a standard 8:00–5:00 schedule; as the site moves to 24-hour operations, you may join a shift team covering 6:00–18:00 or non-standard hours, enabling flexible work-life alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering or related field.
• Experience with automated manufacturing systems and regulatory requirements.
• Strong problem-solving and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate tech support on engineering, regulatory, calibration, quality, and automation issues.
• Assist during regulatory inspections and provide technical support to FDA and other agencies.
• Perform advanced maintenance on plant equipment following CFRs, cGMPs, SOPs and job plans.
