Amgen is hiring an Automation Maintenance Technician at the New Albany, Ohio site. The role provides technical engineering support for system/equipment optimization, upgrades, and modifications within a 24-hour operations framework.

You will ensure maintenance complies with CFRs, cGMPs, SOPs, and Amgen policies, while supporting regulatory inspections and complex fault investigations. The position shifts from a Monday–Friday administrative schedule to a full shift team structure as operations

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering fields.
• 4+ years of technical engineering experience in manufacturing environments or a combination.
• Experience with regulatory/quality standards (FDA, cGMP) is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate tech support on engineering, regulatory, calibration, quality, and automation issues.
• Assist during regulatory agency inspections.
• Provide technical support in response to the FDA and other agencies.
• Perform advanced maintenance activities and operate/monitor plant equipment per CFRs, cGMPs, SOPs, and Amgen policies.
• Investigate complex issues with mentorship from experienced staff.
• Maintain an up-to-date spare parts inventory for equipment/systems.
• Evaluate maintenance procedures and optimize the maintenance program.
• Interpret and review utility, process system, plumbing, HVAC P&ID’s.
• Support Operations on Non-Standard shifts including weekends/holidays.
