Job summary

Skechers is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to perform advanced troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance on complex automated warehouse systems. You will work with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, focusing on high-speed sortation, conveyors, and AS/RS equipment.

Salary range is $26.58–$39.23 per hour, with a Monday–Friday, 2pm–10:30pm schedule. Written and physical tests are required for candidacy. Benefits and growth opportunities available at Skechers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
• 5–7 years of industrial maintenance experience with automated systems.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, motor controls, and automated material handling.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E electrical safety standards.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, multimeters and diagnostic equipment.
• Hot work permit certification and experience with Warehouse Control Systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify, diagnose, and repair complex mechanical and electrical failures on industrial equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLCs to the input/output level and identify processor faults.
• Service and repair motor control panels, starters, relays, and breakers.
• Install and troubleshoot sensors, encoders, bar code readers, and VFDs.
• Wire and repair 480VAC/208VAC 3-phase motors with brakes and speed reducers.
• Repair pneumatic systems including compressors, valves, actuators, cylinders and vacuums.
• Maintain hydraulic systems including pumps, valves, cylinders, and components.
• Fabricate through cutting, drilling, welding with hot work safety.
• Troubleshoot conveyors and high-speed sortation equipment and HMIs.
• Operate Warehouse Control Systems and HMIs for diagnostics and control.
• Work safely with electrical systems from 12VDC to 600VAC per NFPA 70E.
