Job summary

WITRON Group in Ennis, TX is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to support a highly automated distribution center. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, and provide PLC-based system support to keep material handling equipment running at peak performance.

Ideal candidates have 1–2+ years in industrial maintenance, hands-on experience with 480V systems, conveyors, motors, and automation, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician, Industrial Maintenance Technician, or Electro-Mechanical Technician.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills (480V, 3-phase, controls).
• Mechanical systems experience (motors, gearboxes, conveyors).
• PLC troubleshooting experience (Allen Bradley, Siemens, etc.).
• Ability to read electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution center environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on automated systems.
• Troubleshoot conveyors, motors, sensors, PLCs, and control systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems (3‑phase, 480V) and VFDs.
• Support operations to minimize downtime in a fast-paced distribution center.
• Read schematics and manuals and implement improvements.
• Assist with equipment installation and upgrades.
