Job summary

WITRON is hiring an Electro-Mechanical Technician to support a highly automated distribution center environment. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and PLC-based system support to keep material handling and automation systems running at peak performance.

This position is ideal for candidates with experience in industrial maintenance, 480V electrical systems, conveyors, motors, and automation equipment who thrive in a fast-paced, safety-focused workplace.

Qualifications

1–2+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician or Electro-Mechanical Technician.
Experience with 480V electrical systems, conveyors, motors, and automation equipment.
Ability to read electrical schematics and diagrams.
Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting (Allen Bradley, Siemens, etc.).
Work in a warehouse/distribution center environment preferred.
Basic computer skills and CMMS use.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on automated systems.
Work on conveyors, motors, sensors, PLCs, and control systems.
Troubleshoot electrical systems (3-phase, 480V), VFDs, and mechanical equipment.
Support operations by minimizing downtime in a fast-paced distribution center.
Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
Assist with equipment installation, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects.
Use CMMS systems to track maintenance activities.
