Job summary

WITRON is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to maintain automated distribution center systems in Pleasant Prairie, WI. You will perform preventive maintenance, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, and PLC-based support to keep material handling and automation running at peak performance.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of experience as Maintenance Technician, Industrial Maintenance Technician, or Electro-Mechanical Technician
• Strong skills in Electrical troubleshooting (480V, 3-phase, controls)
• Mechanical systems (motors, gearboxes, conveyors)
• Ability to read electrical schematics and diagrams
• Experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution center environment preferred
• Basic computer skills (CMMS, Microsoft Office)

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on automated systems
• Work on conveyors, motors, sensors, PLCs, and control systems
• Troubleshoot electrical systems (3-phase, 480V), VFDs, and mechanical equipment
• Support operations by minimizing downtime in a fast-paced distribution center
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
• Assist with equipment installation, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects
• Use CMMS systems to track maintenance activities
