Job summary
WITRON in Newport, MI seeks an Electro-Mechanical Technician for a highly automated distribution center. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults, and support PLC-based systems to keep material handling and automation running smoothly.
Ideal candidates have 1–2+ years in industrial maintenance, experience with 480V systems, conveyors, motors, and automation equipment, and are comfortable in a fast-paced safety-focused environment.
Qualifications
- 1–2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or as a maintenance technician.
- Experience with 480V electrical systems and three-phase power.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and diagrams.
- Experience with conveyors, motors, gearboxes and automation equipment.
- Warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution center environment preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on automated systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults and perform repairs.
- Support PLC-based control systems and instrumentation.
- Read schematics and install upgrades to equipment.
- Maintain CMMS records and support equipment installations.
