Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Maintenance Superintendent to supervise and coordinate maintenance activities across the facility. The role ensures optimal equipment performance, reliable utility systems, and efficient facility operations while leading maintenance teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The position emphasizes safety, preventive maintenance programs, and facility improvements, with a base salary and discretionary bonus opportunities linked to company performance.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred;

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance team responsible for repair, installation, and upkeep of plant equipment, facilities, and utility systems.
• Plan, assign, and monitor work schedules to ensure timely and effective completion of maintenance activities.
• Maintain production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs to ensure consistent execution and equipment reliability.
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues and support team members in problem-solving and technical development.
• Support facility improvements and manage procurement of tools, equipment, and supplies to drive efficient operations.
• Other duties as assigned.
