Accelera Staffing is seeking a maintenance manager for a multi‑shift industrial facility. You will lead 6–10 technicians, drive preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, and coordinate with production to maximize machine availability.

The role requires strong troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, plus PLC diagnostics, OSHA knowledge, and CMMS proficiency. On‑site leadership is essential in a 24/7 environment.

Formación

• Minimum five years in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing setting.
• Experience leading a maintenance team of 6–10 people; two or more years of leadership preferred.
• Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems; PLC diagnostics.
• Experience in a 24/7, multi-shift facility with rapid, effective decision-making.
• Ability to interpret complex blueprints, manuals, and equipment documentation.
• Comprehensive understanding of OSHA standards and safe industrial maintenance practices.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; CMMS experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Set daily maintenance goals, delegate tasks, and allocate resources to meet production needs.
• Direct response to equipment failures; oversee diagnostics and verify repairs before operation resume.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance; tackle recurring issues.
• Mentor technicians; assess training needs; conduct reviews; maintain safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Scheduler/Planner to manage work orders and reduce backlog.
• Maintain accurate documentation of tasks, repairs, and service history.
• Ensure Lockout/Tagout, confined space, electrical safety, and other protocols are followed.
• Manage spare parts, vendors, and contractors to enable efficient repairs and quality outcomes.
• Provide updates to production management and Plant Engineer on status and priorities.

Success in a manufacturing environment relies on sharp technical insight, well-defined objectives, and a cohesive maintenance crew. If you are passionate about resolving equipment issues, mentoring staff, and eliminating the root causes of persistent downtime, this position provides a platform to influence daily operational efficiency.

You will manage a group of 6 to 10 maintenance professionals within a continuous, multi-shift industrial facility. Under the guidance of the Plant Engineer, your role involves directing daily upkeep, organizing repairs and preventive tasks, and collaborating with production departments to ensure machinery remains safe and functional.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish daily maintenance goals, delegate tasks, and allocate resources to align with production requirements.
• Direct the response to equipment failures, oversee diagnostic efforts, and confirm repairs are successful before returning machinery to operation.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks while actively resolving recurring mechanical issues.
• Mentor and cultivate the skills of your technicians, assess training requirements, perform reviews, and maintain high standards for safety and quality.
• Collaborate with the Maintenance Scheduler/Planner to oversee work orders, manage scheduling, and reduce the maintenance backlog.
• Maintain precise documentation regarding completed tasks, repair specifics, and the service history of equipment.
• Uphold strict adherence to Lockout/Tagout, confined space entry, electrical safety, and other vital maintenance protocols.
• Manage spare parts inventory, external vendors, and contractors to facilitate efficient repairs and high-quality outcomes.
• Provide regular updates to production management and the Plant Engineer regarding equipment status, personnel requirements, and maintenance priorities.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience within a manufacturing setting.
• Proven background leading a maintenance team of 6-10 people, including the ability to provide guidance, foster professional growth, and manage performance; two or more years of leadership experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, including a working knowledge of PLC diagnostics.
• Proven track record in executing preventive maintenance programs and implementing corrective measures to minimize repeat equipment failures.
• Experience navigating the demands of a 24/7, multi-shift facility where equipment challenges require rapid, effective decision-making.
• Ability to interpret complex blueprints, technical manuals, and equipment documentation.
• Comprehensive understanding of OSHA standards and safe industrial maintenance practices.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate seamlessly across production, engineering, and maintenance planning teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance management software, with a preference for prior CMMS experience.

An associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Technology, Electrical Technology, or a relevant discipline is preferred, though equivalent technical training and leadership experience will be considered. Familiarity with overhead cranes, forklifts, conveyors, pumps, and motors is preferred, and skills in welding or fabrication are considered an asset.
