Job summary

Go McPherson seeks an engineer to drive automation integration in warehouse systems and quality improvement programs across its distribution network. You will lead lean initiatives, Kaizen events, and Six Sigma projects to improve cost, throughput, and quality, while championing standardized work and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include evaluating new technologies, designing efficient processes, and training teams to sustain improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 5-7 years of related experience in process improvement and logistics.
• Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt (or CLM) preferred.
• Experience implementing lean and Six Sigma in distribution.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Integrate 3rd party technologies into the distribution network.
• Lead improvement initiatives including Kaizen and lean logistics to cut costs and improve throughput.
• Train and monitor lean implementation across facilities; develop Six Sigma capabilities.
• Develop and optimize new processes using design of experiments and problem-solving tools.
• Define automated logistics processes for transitions from manual to automated systems.
• Ensure equipment utilization and efficient machine setup; manage tools and maintenance.
• Perform root cause analysis for repetitive errors and implement corrective actions.
• Lead knowledge sharing and coordinating project updates with management teams.
• Attend meetings as required and perform other duties.
