Job summary

RoviSys is seeking a co-op student to contribute to automation and information solutions across systems, IT and industrial IT domains. You will design and develop automation and electrical control systems, interface with process lines, and produce real-time reports for clients.

Travel to customer sites for planning, commissioning and testing, with potential to lead a team of engineers and technicians as you grow within the program. Must be a full-time student authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Full-time student status.
• GPA 3.0 or higher.
• Enrollment in a bachelor’s program in engineering or control systems.
• Passionate about problem solving and developing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automation systems.
• Travel to client plants for assessments and documentation.
• Document control schemes using P&ID, I/O lists and process descriptions.
• Network and integrate controllers, HMIs, and field devices.
• Support customers with on-site operations and testing.
• Grow into leading a team of engineers and technicians.
