Job summary

Associated Bank is seeking an automation-focused Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure across branch, campus, data center, and cloud environments.

You will build reusable automation pipelines using Python, NaC, and Ansible, integrate systems via APIs, and monitor performance to ensure high availability and security in a regulated banking setting. A 401(k)/pension plan and volunteer time are among the benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent work experience in IT/CS/Engineering.
• 2+ years in enterprise network engineering or infrastructure operations.
• Strong networking fundamentals and protocols; VPN technologies.
• Hands-on scripting with Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Ansible.
• Experience with IaC and Network as Code; Terraform experience.
• Familiarity with Terraform and API integrations for automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and support enterprise network infrastructure across branch, campus, data center, and cloud environments.
• Build and maintain network automation scripts, playbooks, workflows, and pipelines to streamline provisioning and configuration tasks.
• Integrate network systems and tools via APIs and automation frameworks.
• Monitor performance, availability, and capacity; proactively resolve issues to prevent business impact.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, systems engineering, cloud, and application teams for secure operations.
• Utilize Jira to manage tasks, changes, and sprint activities.
