Job summary

Associated Bank seeks an automation-focused Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure in a secure financial setting. The role emphasizes scripting, automation, and scalable operations across branch, campus, data center, and cloud environments.

You will build automation pipelines, integrate tools via APIs, and collaborate with cybersecurity, cloud, and systems teams while maintaining Confluence runbooks and Jira workflows.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience in IT, CS, or engineering.
• Hands-on network automation and scripting experience required.
• IaC/Network as Code familiarity and API integrations beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and support enterprise network infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain network automation using Ansible, Python, Bash, Terraform, and PowerShell.
• Build reusable scripts, playbooks, and automation pipelines for provisioning and compliance.
• Integrate network tools via APIs and automation frameworks.
• Configure routing, switching, firewall, and wireless infrastructure.
• Monitor performance and proactively address issues affecting operations.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and optimization for high availability.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, cloud, and application teams; maintain docs.
