Job summary

Associated Bank seeks an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and automate its enterprise network across branch, campus, data center, and cloud environments. You will develop reusable automation, scripts, and pipelines to streamline provisioning, configuration, and compliance validation while integrating APIs and IaC.

The role requires collaboration with cybersecurity, cloud, and application teams to ensure secure, reliable operations.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent work experience in IT/CS/Engineering.
• 2+ years in enterprise network engineering or infrastructure operations.
• Strong networking fundamentals and protocols (VPNs, routing, switching).
• Hands-on scripting in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Ansible.
• Experience with IaC and Network as Code methodologies (Terraform, API integrations).
• Experience with SD-WAN, cloud networking, or hybrid environments.
• Certifications: CCNA/CCNP and Network+/AWS/Azure networking are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure across branch, campus, data center, and cloud environments.
• Develop and maintain network automation solutions using Python, NaC, and automation pipelines.
• Automate provisioning, configuration management, compliance validation, and operational tasks.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity; proactively resolve issues.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, cloud, systems, and application teams to ensure secure, compliant operations.
