Associated Bank is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and automate enterprise network infrastructure across branch, data center, and cloud environments. The role emphasizes scripting, IaC, and collaboration with cyber, cloud, and systems teams to ensure secure, scalable operations.

The position offers exposure to modern tooling (Ansible, Terraform, GitHub) and requires 2+ years in networking with strong routing/switching fundamentals and regulatory awareness.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience in IT, CS, or engineering.
• 2+ years in enterprise network engineering or infrastructure operations.
• Strong networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs.
• Hands-on scripting with Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Ansible.
• Experience with IaC and Network as Code; Terraform familiarity; API integrations.
• GitHub or similar version control for infra/automation code.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure across locations and cloud.
• Develop and maintain network automation using Ansible, Python, Bash, Terraform, and NaC.
• Build scripts and pipelines for provisioning, config, and compliance tasks.
• Integrate systems through APIs and automation frameworks.
• Configure routing, switching, firewall, and wireless networks; monitor performance.
• Ensure high availability, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Document standards, runbooks, and diagrams in Confluence; track tasks in Jira.
• Support change management, incident response, and disaster recovery.
